re: Kerry and Edwards are pro-space
Kerry over the years has supported a number of bills that are positive towards NASA. His record is pretty good toward the space program, but he does lean towards the scientific exploration over the commercial possibilities of the endeavor.
I believe he is a co-sponsor of S.788 "Second Century of Flight Act "
I also feel that no matter who is POTUS in 2005 they will have to deal with NASA's failures and the loss of Columbia and give NASA a specific useful goal.
