re: Kerry and Edwards are pro-space
John Kerry like many seems to have that distorted sense of what the space program costs in comparison to what is already being spent on education and health care. If we wait till we take care of health and education we will never ever ever do anything significant in space again. We will spend an eternity waiting to eradicate poverty.
I'm a democrat and would find it very difficult to vote for Bush in spite of his "Space Initiative" which I support. It saddens me to hear Democratic politicians trash the SI just because Bush proposed it.
