He seems to be correcting a lot of what his father screwed up

His father urged the Iraqis to rise up against saddam, and then turned his back on them letting htem be slaughtered and leaving them under sactions and a ruler who only cared for a minority of them.

'Baby Bush' at least brought them up out of it and did waht his father should have done.

Likewise, his father appointed a horrible NASA Administrator (Goldin) and left the agency to run amok with a ridiculous space plan.

Vice Versa Dubya has given NASA a bean counter who cleaned house and set NASA back on its feet. Then followed up by a simple mandate to go beyond LEO and authorized the retirement of the Shuttle and ISS (the Reagan spawned, and Clinton/Bush worsened boondogle) which alone frees up the critical funds for human manned exploration beyond LEO.

If this isn't putting things right I don't know what is. Furthermore you said:

Baby bush will conveiniently ignore his initiative...

Personally I hope he does. Because of people with your attitude everything he does is treated like its got the mark of the beast on it weather it benefits the rest of us or not. So personally I hope he seperates himself from it as much as possible, SO PEOPLE LIKE YOU WONT BE ENCOURAGED TO KILL IT.

Besides the beauty of this space initiative is that it gives a basic mandate and it doens not need a lot of attention from the politicians (I hope political attention/meddling is not something you honestly want?).
