Even if the most favorable things take place: a democratically elected government rules over Iraq, it is pro-west, moderate towards women and religious freedom and asks the US to leave.
Not much time will pass before a faction will try to overthrow that government as in their standards, it's a weak government.
Iraq has always been a violent society and that's why Saddam came to power, years ago.
The anti-war countries knew it very well but Bush ignored what the outcome of the war would be.
If the Iraqis want to change, they have to do it themselves and even perhaps the hard way.
