I see gas prices going to $2.40 a gallon and STAYING there, right up until the election. Then Georgie will PROMISE to get them dowm, but at the same time he'll open up any and all hinterland in America for drilling and conveniently hand the contracts over to his buddies. (How long can you go without saying "Uncle"?) Of course, AFTER the election (whether he wins or not), gas WILL come down, but probably stay as high as it is now.
Watch for food in the grocery store to go up first, as the price is passed on to the consumer. Then come the goods. Watch for the poor to go hungry (or hungrier), watch for more jobs to be lost, more companies to fold, and for the end-of-a-great-era in America.
Of course, I COULD be wrong. Live it up, the "war on terror" is yet to be over.........
;~)
