If it was up to me, I'd make the minimum age 23 years

I understand there are many issues that drive voting age. However during my brief career as a university academic, I noticed that most people are clueless until they're 23 years old. For some reason, the brain reorganizes itself at that age and a person because fully adult. Allowing 14 year old children to vote is simply silly. We might as well let my 3 year old daughter vote. Along those lines, my daughter would probably argue that her dolly should have a vote along with the family cat.
