Something that never ceases to amaze me are these pictures of very young men in the USMC taken during World War II while in combat against the Japanese. Those guys were in 20 year old bodies but based upon the look in their eyes, they must have felt like they were 70 years old. No person should have to go through that, particularly a 20 year old kid. I'm so glad I didn't.
