I agree (really) that if you believe Rice was telling the truth, then her statement is troubling.
As far as placing the blame for 911 squarely on Bush, that makes as much sense as blaming him for the recession. (Let me guess, that makes perfect sense to you)
I think come July when the report is released, you'll see that 9/11 was a systemic failure.
It's funny, you want so badly for Bush to be shown not speculating enough on intelligence in the case of 911 and at the same time, you condemn him for doing so for the percieved threat in Iraq.
(Let me in on something- just what do you think Bush knew?)
