The poll is interesting

...And they were divided in that poll on whether they approve of the way President Bush is handling Iraq - with 47 percent saying "yes" and 49 percent saying "no."

Considering the constant media and Democrat hammering of Bush's Iraq policy, I am actually surprised it's this close.

Asked whether the Iraq situation was worth going to war over, two polls released Wednesday gave slightly differing results.

The Annenberg poll conducted from the beginning to the middle of March said people were split on the question - down sharply - from the amount of support the war had last spring. A CNN-USA Today-Gallup poll conducted earlier in the month said more than half, 55 percent, said it was worth it, while 37 percent said it was not.

I'm assuming "split" means about 50-50. Am I reading that wrong? And 55 percent to 37 percent saying it was worth going to war over is, again, somewhat surprising considering the relentless negative environment.
