Try and imagine this kind of indignation of a Democratic spending program had come in grotesquely over budget. Hey, whaddaya know...they pretty much all did! Where was the fuss from these same people? Anybody remember the price tag on the Medicare bill the Democrats were pushing?

Bush shouldn't have increased Medicare or any other entitlement at all in the first place, and if you wanted to give him crap for even pushing such a bill at all, I'd be right in your corner.
