I really did. I was trying to share his interests, support his hobbies, in short accept and understand him.

And I'll continue to do so, for my strength is as the strength of ten because my heart is pure. Compared to some black-hearted people, whose heart's aren't pure, and are nasty to those who extend the paw of compassion to their beleaguered little brains.

Sigh. It's tough being so damned kind to the undeserving, but someone should do it. Now that Mother Teresa is gone. And Albert Schweitzer. That is me, Semper Fido.

I am not, unfortunately, like Mom T. or Al, and shouldn't have our names in the same paragraph, was only to show that the little guy needs a champion, and until a real one can come along I guess he needs the imperfect, flawed, minor ones like Semper. Because God knows he needs understanding, and acceptance, in spite of himself. Sure doesn't deserve it, does he?
