Was there. Nuff said.
Protesting stateside I can accept, some of my own family marched. While we did have a bit of a discussion about it, they had every right to do so. Believe it or not that is one reason someone walks in harms way in uniform. To make sure they have the right to do so And I can agree with many of the points brought up by the protest movement.
But, Mz Fonda chose to go to the heart of the enemy and hold their hand. Publically, knowing full well they had Prisoners of War not more than a few klicks away. In my 'umble opinion the fact that she was a 'Celebrity" with a de-facto public podium did offer aid to the enemy.
I am going to drop this thread from my radar, from bitter experience I know that those who see Hanoi Jane as a hero will never see what she truly was. Further discussion is useless.
And, as far as Mr Kerry, the record speaks for itself. He is a fake, he tossed someone else's medals over the fence not his own. Which now hang in his office. He sat in front of Congress and lied like a rug, that has been proven beyond any doubt. Nuf said about that too.
