Could carbonates have been found in Bounce?

According to the article "ORIGIN OF WHITE DRUSE' IN THE EETA79001 METEORITE,"
the carbonate inclusions are millimeter in size.
Could the mini-TES detect carbonate deposits this size? They were seen in the meteorite in association with black glass pockets, which might give a means for searching for the carbonate spots.
