I have seen white pumice

They are thinking that Bounce was blasted off by an impactor for another location on Mars. Could being heated by the impact or caused bounce to change color (Like a metamorphic rock)?

I was surprised it was not related to the Eagle crater rocks. It looks like the same color.

With rocks, you canâ€™t go by color. I am reminded of the fool and foolâ€™s gold.

I have seen white plagioclase in granite. Rhyolite is usually light colored.

Mars is full of surprises.
