Re: I can't decide which story to sub

P.S. be careful of your science. Despite years of TV SF, it's not really possible to "float into a sun." It takes a huge amount of delta-V to hit the sun, beyond many conventional large rockets, never mind a rocket pack (never a "jetpack" in space). You have to cancel all your orbital velocity to essentially be "at rest" in a solar system to fall into the sun. Someone stranded in deep space would normally just stay in orbit forever, which isn't much of an improvement. Most everything in our solar system is in one orbit or another. Some comets and such can be perturbed enough for their orbit to intersect the sun, and we've seen such collisions. As far as our sun is concerned, it's like spitting into a volcano.

Edit: "Delta-V change?" kind of redundant. Fixed.
