I am so disgusted by this crap. The problem is I don't know what's more digusting, the american idiots who did all this crap to the prisoners, or the american idiots who try to blow it off as if its not a big deal. It is a big deal. We are the ones who are supposed to take the high road. It is expected of us, and we are proud to do it. I know this is a small group of outa control people commiting these crimes, but even a small number of idiot americans can blight the image of all americans. By necessity, we need to be a cut above the rest, because when were not we lose any good will we've banked over the years.

To compare this torture (yes it is torture) to college frat hazing is just disgusting. Were I in college and had to endure all this crap against my will, I'd be filing criminal charges against the criminals who did it. To say, "well it's not as bad as Saddam's thugs did", drags us down to the level of the baathists. I don't want to go there. Lets take the high road, call the torture for what it is and charge the individuals and their local commanders with war crimes. Lets make an example of these idiots, so we don't get more of the same elsewhere. We can't afford not to IMO.
