Saddam was worse. That excuses every abuse by Americans.
That is a very sad commentary on the conservative view of America.
Their standard for America is that it be just a little bit better than the worst the world has to offer.
Saddam was worse. Therefore, anything done by Americans up to killing a few thousand innocent Iraqis, is excusable. And, we've done that, too, but we did it in the name of freedom and democracy, and not as many as he, anyway. So get off GWB's back.

And it wouldn't be an issue if the media would cooperate and just shut up!
