GWB & Co. wanted to be able to hold people indefinitely, throw anyone who talked about it in jail, for a reason.
GWB & Co. wanted these people to have no representation, for a reason.
In effect, GWB & Co. wanted a "night and fog" gulag, FOR A REASON.
What might that reason be, if not to hide the arrests, if not to hide the detention?
And what is there to stop these people from torturing them, as have others under their control?
