What version of democracy does our military use outside of our country? It sure seem different from the one back in the states.
When you label someone an "unlawful combatant" I guess it's another way of saying to everyone you own them. Are we moving back to slavery?

Another Afghan Prison Probe Launched

KABUL, Afghanistan (AP) - The U.S. military has launched a second probe into alleged prisoner abuse in Afghanistan in a week, a spokesman said Saturday.

The U.S. military views Taliban and al-Qaida prisoners as "unlawful combatants," and has held hundreds captured in the war that ousted the Taliban in late 2001 for more than two years without formal charge or access to lawyers.
