I favor the use of nuclear energy. I'm also a fan of James Lovelock and Lynn Margulis. Lovelock and Margulis are both distinguished scientists. Their Gaia Hypothesis is an interesting scientific theory. The environmentalist movement used the Gaia Hypothesis to forward its own political agenda. However I would be very surprised if either Lovelock or Margulis supported radical enironmentalist ideology. It's quite possible that James Lovelock has always been pro-nuclear. It's a logical falacy to assume that because fanatics and radicals believe in the Gaia Hypothesis, that Lovelock and Margulis are themselves fanatical or radical environmentalists.
