At some point you will come to realize that words do indeed have meaning. There is a vast difference between the concepts involved in explaining a thing and advocating that same thing.

Apparently the distinction is lost on you, judging by your tendency to reducto ad absurdum. You seem to want centers of higher learning to only have professors that "preach to the choir."

How intellectually dull and stullified your university would be. Also, you give the impression that 20+ year olds are incapable of filtering the dreck and dross and only absorb the revealed truths from on high.

Personally, I have more faith in youth. More regard for differing opinion. And more interest finding the shades of truth and reality that the world presents. (Hell, that is why I bother to look and see what you have to say, even though I know where you are going to go. You do say some interesting things getting there.)

As to your diatribe on "communist" states...when you are scratching around for unsuccessful and miserable governments don't overlook the right-wing military dictatorships that have kept the majority of people in the various Latin American dictatorships under their thumb for years.

And when you go there, look where they were trained---in the School of the Americas, by our military.
