Is there any realistic possibility that bin Laden could be contemplating a coup in Saudi Arabia? If he should ever get his wish that American forces leave that country, would that open any doors wide enough that his group could seize power?

I don't really know much about Saudi Arabia...my apologies if this is a ridiculous question. But I was thinking about that particular demand (that American forces leave Saudi Arabia) and wondering if it really is simply for religious reasons, or if he's got a hidden agenda that's thouroughly drenched in lust for political and economic power.

Wouldn't it be ironic if this whole thing is, for al Qaeda, all about oil?
