re: What's occupation?
The US troops are stationed on a few hectars near several towns in Germany, in bases. Soldiers would from time to time do their shopping in German towns, have a drink in a cafe, ride on german roads and that's called occupation like in Iraq?????????
The foreign troops have to follow all the same laws (vote by Germans) applied to Germans (on roads, etc...) and that's what we did too, as Belgians in Germany.
