In the event that 109/P were on an Earth impacting trajectory (which it is not) deflection technology might certainly be expected to exist by 2126! If not, our descendants would receive no worse than their deserts for the appalling foot-draggers theyâ€™d be... "Ho boy dontcha lie on the track..." ;-)
