Amazing - no gratuitous insults from you this time.
Note carefully that Hoffman was not invited to work or advise the rover teams - no, NASA reserves that right for its own "watery Mars" lot.
Note also that the only "areologically" active area of Mars imaged, which Hoffman spotted, has yet to be re-imaged by NASA.
As for 3 months, it's nothing sinister - just some very reputable scientists publishing some very hard new data
Now, Chris, did the Chinese military slang for a combined amphibious fleet, the "assassin's mace" or "killer's mace" come from:
a) a Chinese variant of ninja tales, where the best translation would be close to Japanese,
where the mace is actually a ninja ball and chain weapon, or
b) a Chinese tale of some emperor, or
c) a childhood tale?
It would also be nice if you would apologize to me for your earlier insults which you made at the time of the Columbia accident in response to my observations about the crew compartment's integrity, observations which I point out were later verified by the accident investigation board.
Finally, I doubt if the shuttles are going to return to flight before bail-out safety indicators are installed on the cabin hatches.
But then of course NASA employees have done stupid things before.
