Hi Publius -

If one is looking for reasons, concepts, plans, or clues there are 2 places one must look. One is with Bush Jr himself, and the other is with the Office of Special Plans...

I suppose that efforts to maintain any oversight over the Office of Special Plans (find out what the hell happened) have been thoroughly blocked for the time being - probably a throwing back and forth between the Intelligence Committees and the Armed Services Committees -

The question is, will there be enough US casualties to force the good gentlemen to do their jobs? Given that Sharon has just issued Arafat an ultimatum for June 15, looks like we won't have long to wait to find out...
