Boy, a free market really does make for efficiency, doesn't it? You can trust those capitalists to have the welfare of their clients at heart.
The temptation is just too strong, greed always wins. Capitalism is great, AND it needs controls in order to function. Or, you get stock frauds, mutual fund frauds, WorldCom, Enron, Halliburton, accounting frauds, and so on and so on.
That's not even bottle-rocket science.
