Nasa's Small Business Utilization office claims it's into empowering African-American-owned small businesses to profit from the space industry, and its African American bureaucrats who "run" the joint profit heavily from the process. However, OSDBU (as it calls itself) sneakily does whatever it can to keep such minority-owned businesses down & dependent on those bureaucrats who profit handily in the process. Get a load of the latest example:
NASA's "small business utilization" office website peculiarly makes absolutely NO mention of NASA's annual Centennial Challenges / competitive prizes workshop on its calendar (or elsewhere, from what we have seen):
http://www.osdbu.nasa.gov
It's also not mentioned on their calendar of events:
https://neptune.hq.nasa.gov/osdbu/program/calendar.cfm
But aren't such prizes small entrepreneurs' best opportunity for breaking the aerospace oligarchy's dominance on NASA contracting about which that office's bureaucrats get paid to pretend to care? Ah, but with prizes one doesn't need the bureaucratic central planners any more and they'd have to develop marketable skills instead of race-baiting, whining ones. Is anyone surprised that Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization offices like NASA's are popularly refered to as SADBU offices? They're sad and boo-hooing all the way to the bank not only at taxpayers' and efficiency's expense, but also at African Americans'.

Can you believe how NASA's minority contracting office has $old out minorities' well-being?
