ah, he's protecting us. I should have known.

Wow, we should all bow down to King George who only has our best interests at heart. He certainly couldn't fall to basic human urges such as greed, ego, insecurities, addictions, sexual needs or frustrations. All his actions must certainly be for noble purposes. Why I believe he must be the 2nd coming. Of course. Listen to his speeches. God is on our side. Homosexuals and liberals are dragging our country down the toilets. Those wacky environmentalists are killing our economy, trying to save owls over good Republican lumberjacks.

REB, give me a break. How can you possibly know what's inside the man's head? There's just as much a chance that Bush is waging war to rid the world of evil as there is he's only doing it to give profit to his buddies in the defense industry or maybe some bizarre combination of those things. Intelligent, open-minded individuals don't put out such moronic unsupported statements as the title to your last post. I no more know what Bush is trying to do as I know what Bill Clinton's true intentions were when he was shoving a cigar into Monica's orifice.

All I can see in solid evidence is that, whatever his intentions, he's a miserable failure at leadership, both within the country and around the world. Leaders don't polarize a country into such intense compassion on both sides of the issue. They understand compromise and keeping discussions civil and non-judgmental. They don't make inflammatory statements like "Bring it on" when dealing with wackos that have no regard for human life including their own. They understand humility and the ability to change their tone when conditions are altered around them.

The swing vote in this next election don't hate George Bush. They are simply tired of the man and the tension he's created in human beings around the world.
