Did you really expect a response? What would they say?

For what it's worth: the UN oil for food scandal is immense; involves half a dozen countries; involves many big political players including the honorable Kofi Annan and our favorite bad euros.

"It is impossible to speculate who killed Mr Karim, but the oil-for-food corruption involved very powerful people inside and outside Iraq," he added.

Has anyone here yet come to the conclusion the terrorists operating inside Iraq are not just your average illiterate Iraqis? I mentioned this a long time ago and heard polite scoffing.

The reality is foreign mercenaries, posing as locals, conduct very precise missions in Iraq. The espionage game has not ended because the cold war has ended.

European nations have a vested interest in seeing Iraq fall apart and their own stooges in power to give them sweetheart deals on oil. The UN oil for food program, in a sane world, would bring down the UN and make everyone aware how corrupt the organization has really become.

And in some weird, ironic twist, the leftist media and masses have convinced the most gullible of the planet that it is Bush who is corrupt, wants Iraq's oil and has ulterior motives.
