Space/Science » in reply to R.L.'s got a point...

Prizes reward RESULTS and leverage 40 times their amount in investment pursuing them.

Prizes reward RESULTS, not merely unsuccessful "attempts". Prizes also leverage around 40 times their amount in terms of investment pursuing such prizes. Thus, taxpayers don't pay if contestants don't produce. Taxpayers also get far more "bang for the buck". So how is the prizes scenario even remotely as tax-leeching as the government contracts paradigm?

It's not, of course, but that's why R.L. fears it and despises me. He can't rationally confront the message any more than he can confront me if we settled his feminine tissy fit against me like Jefferson, Washington, or Lincoln used to resolve disputes: through gentlemanly combative sports (mainly rasslin'). It's so much easier to simply spam whatever I publish, engaging in ad hominem attacks against me rather than meaningful attempted rebuttals regarding whatever I say. How is he anything BUT a coward?
