I must have read all his SF short stories.
Some have been combined to become a movie like 2001, another one also became a movie (where astronauts are stranded between Venus and Earth and with not enough oxygen for all).
The Hammer of God sort of became Deep Impact.
I also remember a comic version of the City and the Stars or the Lion of Comarre....
To see a comic after reading it first in a book is disturbing!
By reading, you transpose your own imagination to the descibed scenes and in your head you have a mental representation of the events; you even have an idea about what the characters look like. But then comes the comic version.....
