We designed the XV concept for the Alternate Access proposal for just such a mission, although we somehow neglected to include this in the documentation we sent to NASA. ;)

Notice all the black tiles? With water-cooling sitting in the wings if we needed it. Not a problem.

Personally, I would want a bigger vehicle for a lunar trip. I've told Gary Hudson I'll go into space when they have cute flight attendants.
