It is never too late to learn, Buck. You have a good head for science. Get you a college Geology text book and dive in.

I love Geology. I majored in it for a couple of years. Then the 1980â€™s oil crunch in Houston killed the geology job market. Geology ended up being one of my three minors. I also got certified to teach it.

One of my favorite college memories is not drinking beer at some wild party. It is of a Geology field trip we took to the Llano uplift. I wish I could relive that trip.

I have heard that some colleges now teach planetary geology.
