I can't imagine anyone here wants you to stop posting links.

It's still too easy for us to misunderstand one another on these boards. I admit to ocassionally being stymied by your instruction to read a linked article in it's entirety, but at the very same time I know exactly why you're offering those same instructions. I've seen you build brilliantly-researched arguments, only to have them dismissed with the cyber-equivilent of an uninterested shrug. I can only imagine your frustration, and I don't know what mechanism one can use to encourage people to fully digest what one offers here (other than, of course, some words along the lines of "Please read the friggin' article/blog/analysis," which is pretty much exactly what you're getting roasted for).

I suspect that ultimately, the 'Zone CE board is less about debate than it's about pronouncement (been there, done that). You offer a great deal of material as subject for debate, and I guess it's simply easier to ignore it than deal with it, especially if there's a chance it could force one to re-consider a dearly-held "truth."

And let's face it, this election's gonna be an ugly affair, and any evidence that the situation in Iraq isn't quite the Boschian nightmare the LA Times paints is, for some people, nothing more than a political inconvenience.

Keep the colors flying, Tom :-)
