Note that many (not all) of the entertainers on the exception list are Country & Western stars (think cowboys) and inclined to be on the conservative side along with most C&W fans. She is in the wrong genre to be a liberal and still expect to sell records
Any C&W star that does what she did is going to pay at the cash register.
I assume you know you could start with Barbara Striesand and rattle off a list of a hundred or more high profile Hollywood types that speak out ad nauseum against Bush.
In fact, it is known to be dangerous for the ole career to be conservative in the entertainment community unless you are already rich and powerful like C. Eastwood and a few others.
