When I heard the mention of cynicism I thought he was addressing some (Kennedy, Gore, Dean, the media) Democrats because they are the ones who have been cynical towards Bush and dividing the country. The Democrats and lefty media have been furiously bashing and making unfounded judgment against President Bush only to be found innocent of the Democrats claims and then they turn around and act like it's the Republicans fault the country is polarized and in need of unity.
It's kind of funny, my sister used to do the same thing when I was right and she couldn't get her way. The mess she stirred up between us would end up being blamed on me and my parents sometimes bought into it.

One thing some Zoners could take from his speech is that Christians are part of the left too and not go on with the Christian/Right bashing as policy.

I also noticed the count all votes cry, except the overseas military ones I guess.

All in all, a good propaganda speech for the Democrats
