Man, SDAI for such an articulate person (and a fellow Arizonan), you certainly sound gullible in your support of the current administration. How can you go from such complete distrust of anyone in politics to the left of your political slant to absolute trust and faith in anyone in the Bush administration? I think a healthy distrust of anyone in political office is a good thing. I am constantly assessing the asinine statements and actions of both parties. You believe George Bush and Dick Cheney care about you? Why would they? They're so far out of your league in success and power you're no more than a pissant to them. (by the way I hold the same feeling for most influential Democrat leaders).

I am certain that the vast majority of politicians begin their political careers as idealists, with the betterment of society as their primary goal. I also believe that the road to the top is a minefield for those ideals. To survive with your morals and ethics intact at the national level is an extremely rare thing. Open your eyes a bit. Bush, Cheney, Wolfowitz, Rove are in it for one thing - personal power and glory. It should scare you that you've fallen so far for their hard sell.
