What is it exactly about "knowing" whose message has been posted? Do you really know anyway? If I start posting with a different nickname each time, why does it provoke a paranoid response? Since it provokes a paranoid response, you musn't know who it is then! Why do people automatically start actively trying to identify me via IP address? Is it hostility or curiosity? By defeating most search engines, do I also disorient people who want to stalk me or attack me?
Why isn't the theme of the message board more important than 'who's who' ?
