the terrorists in Iraq were killing more people before the US invasion.
They were just killing with Sadam's full support and approval.
Besides, the issue isn't terrorism in Iraq in the Year 2004. The issue was potential terrorism in the United States in 2005, 2006, 2007, and beyond.
Sadam was setting up and actively supporting terrorist networks (both direct support and indirect support) that would attack the US at some point in the future.
So let thee be terrorist problems in the Middle East: Its better there than here.
