Odd. I have yet to see an SFGate comment headlined, "View From the Left."

I stand by my prediction, which I bookmarked so that I can gloat, or eat it, as the case may be.

More details (I'm starting to feel like a giraffe):

- the media will report a "neck and neck race" all the way up to election day.

- Bush's victory will utterly blindside the Left. They will not believe it, and will immediately seize on any and all conspiracy theories to explain it.

- There will be fire and riots in places.

- The Democratic lawyers will attack. It won't work, and they may discover that the American people are not all that happy with that tactic any more.
