re: Read this, Donald

I'm pretty sure it was volunteer service, Larry.

Bush Volunteered?

Where are the records of his request?

Did he know he had to few hours to be accepted?

Why not? You were picking on me for being "math challenged" when I was joking. What would this be? Less than 200 hours is less than 500 by bunches!!! 8-)

I don't easily trust folks who are "found" by republican operatives during and election cycle.

Bill Calhoun "saw" Bush when Bush was not possibly there.

Only one person has vivid recollections of serving with Bush at Dannelly field. John B. "Bill" Calhoun, 69 -- whose name was provided by a Republican ally of Bush's -- said he saw Bush sign in at the 187th eight to 10 times for about eight hours each from May to October 1972.

But Calhoun remembers seeing Bush at Dannelly at times in mid-1972 when the White House acknowledges Bush was not pulling Guard duty in Alabama yet; his first drills were in October, according to the White House. White House press secretary Scott McClellan on Friday was at a loss to reconcile the discrepancy.

Joe LeFevers said he saw Bush one time on someday during 1972 at the base. This is not proof of him fulfilling his duties!

But as you seem to be into single individuals making claims about this one: Guardsman says he saw Bush's Guard records in trash(CNN) --A former officer in the Texas National Guard said Thursday he once overheard a conversation in which there was a request to sanitize President Bush's Guard records during Bush's tenure as Texas governor.

I don't know about Kerry's claims about Cambodia...they are troubling, but not as much as Bush's very probably being AWOL and possibly even deserting and lying about it.
