If RL's use of the laser created a stir in the upper atmosphere and attracted a colony of interstellar space travellers to his site?!
Why, maybe they'd abduct him one long, lonely night while driving down the mountain and maybe even give him an anal probe.....LOL

THEN we'd see who'd be laughing.
