Here is a very interesting chart that attempts to show trends in polls of Bush's approval vs. 9/11, Iraq war, Saddam capture and terror alerts. Odd that war in Afganistan does not show up in the data much, if at all.

Seems to point out the obvious that when there is conflict or threat, then it is of benefit to Bush's approval. Also seems to highlight that terror alerts are accelerating as we head into the election. Cooincidence?
