Perseid's Meteors

SteveS — 8/12/2004 12:31:38 PM (archived)

Went outside for a chance Perseid meteor this morning and I wasn't disappointed. A couple bright streaks within seconds heading for a crescent moon flanked by the morning star. Orion on its side rising in the East seemed to make my coffee taste a bit better. That was enough for me and I have a feeling the reports of the Perseid showers are going to be favorable if I could see some in my lousy sky glow area.
