On tuesday night, I went to the Eurospace Center . It was stormy, raining and clouded. But, there was a plan B, in case. I followed conferences about meteorites and was interviewed live on the french speaking radio, together with 2 other astronomy clubs presidents.
Last night, 2 friends called me to join them on the field where we usually observe and we were about 20 members and their relatives enjoying the falling stars!!! That was a record number of participants for our club. I saw a number of Perseids too! Both times I was home after 01 AM.
Tonight, it's cloudy and others are organizing parties, but....
And on saturday, another opportunity for a public gathering outside , otherwise I'll make a speach about Mars and Saturn, inside.
