That wind-turbine I and my friends put our efforts & sweat into over July was NOISY!!
The quiet of the woodlands and lakes near Peterborough, Ontario
were disturbed by our contraption when winds over 40mph were
funneled into the air-intake. It sounded like a humungous noisy vacuum cleaner.

So much for wind-turbines being environmentally friendly compared to coal or uranium.
Learned the hard way.
