I'm using take offs on Bush's own justifications for his cuts to show how they could have backfired. You can claim the whole line of argument is false, but that discredits Bush just as much.

Your comments also ignore that this particular debate is on where tax cuts should have gone. Not doing any at all is something I would have preferred earlier, but have to admit we may have needed more than low rates this time due to external factors.
