Service Pack 5

I'm mainly a Linux user. My system is setup to multi-boot with Windows 2000 on one of the partitions. I never activate the DSL connection from the Windows partition because of my concern about worms. I only use the Windows partition to play card games and run Windows specific shrinkwrap programs. I've downloaded Service Packs 1 - 4 through the Linux partition, moved them over to the Windows partition, boot Windows and then installed the Service Packs. I've also downloaded some Windows related security upgrades from CERT. There appears to be no Service Pack 5 for Windows 2000. Is this true? Is Microsoft ever going to produce another Service Pack for Windows 2000?

While I'm playing Hearts or Solitaire on Windows, I get this bitchy balloon advisory from the tool bar complaining that I need to update my system. As I earlier mentioned, my system is fully updated and I never plan on accessing the web from the Windows partition anyway so this advisory is spurious. How do I disable this advisory program?

Thanks!

Gary
