According to this, Microsoft will be providing "mainstream" support for Win2K through June 2005. After that they'll be happy to sell you an extended support contract through 2010.

Microsoft's taken some heat for the phaseout schedule, because a lot of big companies are quite content to stick with Win2K. Microsoft may yet have to relent and extend mainstream support a little longer.
